We took a very short trip up the line to Whanganui a few weeks back. Classic west coast, springtime weather meant it alternated every 15 minutes or so between warm and sunny, and driving rain. Where better to find some moody tones than down at the local beach. We had just enough space to walk along the beach before the tide rolled in and cut us off.
